How do I get the files?

Go to your Instagram profile and tap the menu icon (☰).
Select "Your activity".
Scroll to the bottom and tap "Download your information".
Tap "Request a download", select your profile.
Choose "Select types of information".
Select only "Followers and following" and tap Next.
Make sure the format is set to HTML, then submit the request.
Instagram will email you a link to a ZIP file. Download and unzip it.
Inside, find the "followers_and_following" folder. Your files are in there!
